Could Chiropractic Help You?

Usually with chiropractic care, we get
one of two types of patients.
Usually a patient will call possibly
right after an accident. They know that
something has happened to their spine.
Maybe they’ve been to a chiropractor in
the past. They call us. They come in. We
examine the spine, find that recent
injury or able to treat it successfully,
get the alignment to improve and get
them moving and feeling better hopefully
very quickly and back to work or back
home and getting on with their life.
Sometimes we have patients though that
come in and they say, “You know, Dr.
Matt, uh, I just feel like I must have
slept in a funny position last night. I
just woke up and I had pain.” And that
usually tells me that we may be dealing
with something different than they
suspect. And in many cases when we do a
proper examination, we can look and see
that possibly they may have had an
accident possibly years ago and yet the
problem wasn’t treated successfully at
that time. And maybe they learned to
live with it, but over time that
pressure continues to build up for years
until one day maybe they just bend over
to pick up a piece of trash or they do
some yard work and they can’t stand up.
